The Moosic Borough Police Department would like to remind everyone that engaging in peddling, hawking, selling, or soliciting for the sale of goods, services, wares, or merchandise at any residence or along any street within the Borough of Moosic without a temporary sales permit is unlawful.

To obtain a permit, please contact the Borough Zoning/Code Enforcement Officer. The permit will include the applicant's name and address, the date submitted, the name and address of the applicant's principal or employer (if applicable), the specific type of merchandise to be sold or solicited, and the required permit fee.

If you are a resident or business owner within the Borough and encounter someone soliciting, please contact us by dialing 911. We will verify the individual's identity and confirm if they have or need a permit.
